The fact that women’s bodies work much like a fad, a self-evident fact, should be enough for even the most layman to recognize that women’s bodies are viewed as goods for consumption. In the 90s, very thin bodies were in. In the early 2000s big boobs and thin lips were a thing. Right now, I feel like it is about big butts and super small waists and big lips. Meanwhile, there has been no trendings for male bodies. Except acceptance that no one even asked for or needed, e.g., “dad bod”.
